Brekeriet Tapping 11/1/16

On Tuesday November 1st at 7pm we welcome our friends from Brekeriet, Sweden’s first all brett/wild brewery, to Chicago. We will be tapping four of their world class wild ales, with bottles also available. This will be the first time Brekeriet’s unique farmhouse style beers will be available in Chicago on draft (and first time in the US outside The Festival). Brothers André and Fredrik Ek will be present throughout the event.

Brekeriet Cassis
Sour Ale fermented primarily with Brettanomyces, refermented with Black Currants: 5.4%

Brekeriet Hallon
Raspberry Sour fermented with several different wild strains and lactic bacteria strains: 6%

Brekeriet Queens Quad
Bold Barley Wine fermented with Brettanomyces, refermented with Blueberry and Raspberries: 13%

Brekeriet Sour White
Tart wheat ale fermented with several different wild strains and lactic bacteria strains: 5%

Funky, bitter saison refermented with Brettanomyces: 5.5% / 330mL

Brekeriet Rhuboise
Tart blond ale refermented with Brettanomyces, Raspberries, Rhubarb and Vanilla beans: 6% / 330mL

Brekeriet Ribes (Cassis)
Sour Ale fermented primarily with Brettanomyces, refermented with Black Currants: 5.2% / 750 mL
